I knit myself a summer top each year, and while I always plough through the knitting portion of the project, I don't seem to get around to sewing it up until it's too chilly to wear it (you thought you were the only one... didn't you?).
Having said that... this is not a recent project. But it is a recent addition to my wardrobe.
This... is last summers project.
While I continue to be on the hunt for the perfect red dress to wear with it, I am more than happy with the finished result.
Yarn? Calico by Sirdar in shade 728 'Bandana'- 5 balls (this stuff has NEVER ENDING yardage- which is a good thing, of course).
Needles? 4 mm.
Pattern? Sidar 9009
And to top it all off? Wee glass flower buttons.
Flower buttons, to go with my flowery garden.
Happy Tuesday everyone.

OOO! I just love this! I'm sure it will be the perfect layering piece for overly air-conditioned spaces this summer!
I always dread finishing too. I'm not sure why. It's not like it takes a lot of time and energy,I think I just get my "fill" of a project after the major hurdles are jumped.
