On the Fifth Day of Christmas

I actually knit myself...

A sort of boring ribbed scarf inspired by Brooklyn Tweed's Noro Scarf that's actually not boring at all.

You follow?

This actually came about as a result of Boxing-Day-Let-Down. You know? You're just entirely exhausted from all the running around you've been doing the few weeks prior, that you just have to collapse on the couch and knit something 100% brainless, but of course beautiful.

(Don't judge me for sometimes loving boring, but beautiful).

The scoop?

Four skeins of Noro Silk Garden.

Two balls of each colour.
5.5 mm needles.

Two rows of each.

Back and forth.

Back and forth.

Back and forth.

It's just so rewarding for minimal effort.

I love it.

I should always have at least two colourways of this stuff easily accessible.
The positive effects it has on my mental health is outstanding.

Why didn't I buy more Noro Silk while I was there? It IS beautiful, the way the colours blend. Another trip may be in order.....

Simple knit, but not boring, thanks to the wonderful yarns of Noro!
