Easy, EASY care- check. An acrylic/wool blend makes for beautiful washing and cozy softness on the baby's skin. Also- let's be honest. Not all moms are into handwashing. You don't want to knit a beautiful gift for someone only to have it felt to the size of a Barbie doll!

Gender neutral- check.

Cuteness factor- check. It doesn't get much cuter than seeing a small person in something that Mom or Dad might request to have made in their size.
